Job Responsibilities – The Equipment Installation Supervisor will report directly to the Installation Manager and will assist in the removal and installation of Kono Kogs, inc. equipment by disassembling, reassembling, and relocating machinery.
- This position is a traveling position primarily in the contiguous United States
- Keep job sites and equipment organized and clean
- Oversee crews in a manufacturing setting
- General knowledge of ARC and MIG weld and plasma torch operation
- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and vender specifications to dismantle and reassemble machine sub-assemblies using various hand and power tools
- Assist in staging and delivery of materials and equipment. Our installations consist of all types of air pollution control equipment, in all types of industry
- Perform mechanical assembly operations to precise tolerances
- Ability to work from aerial lifts
- Use measuring instruments to level and align work
- Familiarity with natural gas, electrical, and compressed air utilities
- Meet and maintain quality and performance expectations including efficiencies and productivity standards
- Actively participate in team meetings to communicate and help resolve any productivity and quality issues
- Provide accurate record keeping and complete both internal and customer reports summarizing project milestones
- Regularly communicate and interact with customers and other team members in a clear, concise manner
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Additional training will be provided for the following
- Assist in rigging equipment and the ability to signal machine operators
- Weld Quality Inspection
- Safety requirements
- OSHA
- Run the Trimble 3D scanning equipment
- Machine operation certification
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management preferred but not required
- Computer skills in Excel/Word/AutoCAD
- 2-4 years of experience preferred, but not required
- General mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Willingness to learn various other skill sets as required
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass drug screening
