Electro-Optics Technicians
Brimrose Corporation of America is a designer, manufacturer, and custom builder of high-quality, ruggedized acousto-optic components (AO), AOTF near infrared spectrometers (NIR), AOTF hyperspectral imagers (HSI), and more. The company was founded in 1980 by Dr. Ronald Rosemeier with several “Small Business Innovative Research” Grants (SBIRs) and as a defense contractor. Research and development continues to be the backbone of our organization. We have created a culture of freedom to explore and develop new ideas. The Brimrose headquarters is located north of Baltimore, Maryland, in a technology sector known as Hunt Valley. Engineers work to design and have access to our machining for prototypes and custom building. We manufacture all our products here in the United States, including specialized crystals grown at our facilities. Several innovative technologies have been developed and perfected by Brimrose as the result of our long history of R&D, including our Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter technology (AOTF). AOTF is a critical technology that offers several advantages for our technologies in each of our major commercial divisions.
Brimrose is looking for Electro-Optics Technicians to help us grow our rapidly expanding team of professionals. Enjoy paid on-the-job training and learn valuable skills in the process. Experience in electronics and/or photonics is a major plus. Based in Hunt Valley, MD, Brimrose is at the cutting edge of technology innovation, producing high-quality components for a variety of commercial and governmental applications, including NASA Moon and Mars programs, as well as for prototype development for our R&D/New Product team.
