Project Administrator

PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR (Permanent)
Our client, a local contracting company in WNY, is looking to hire a Project Administrator to join their growing team.  This is a great opportunity for an entry-level candidate looking to get his/her professional start with a great company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily administrative duties for the current commercial, mechanical, & HVAC projects within the company
  • Draft various project documents—including contracts—with project-specific details
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within the project’s timeline
  • Coordinate meetings between Project Managers, clients, vendors, and other necessary personnel
  • Sit in on meetings to ensure accurate minutes are taken and necessary adjustments are made within specific projects
  • Process RFIs, submittals, and other time-sensitive paperwork
  • Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to gather appropriate information
  • Assist with budgeting and reporting
  • Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Complete special projects in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned/as necessary

 

Details:

  • Position is full time, direct hire
  • 100% in-office
  • $22.00 - $25.00/hour depending on experience 
  • Health, Dental, Vision, IRA match, PTO, Paid Holidays
  • Bachelors or Associates in Construction Management, Engineering or related 
  • Experience in HVAC & Plumbing/Commercial Construction is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organization skills, analytical, and time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail 
  • Self-motivated
  • Relocation not available
