Role Description

LMJ is seeking a full-time, on-site Geotechnical Engineer in Pensacola, FL. This role involves leading geotechnical engineering projects, overseeing drilling operations, conducting construction materials testing, and performing special inspections. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise and collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

 

Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida (or ability to obtain licensure)
  • Background in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspections
  • Proficiency in technical analysis, problem-solving, and project management
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in geotechnical engineering software (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
