At Northwestern Mutual - Duluth, we’re seeking a driven, high-energy recruiter who thrives on hunting for top talent. If you're someone who loves to get out in the community, build relationships, and actively network to identify and attract the best candidates, this role is for you.
As a key member of our talent acquisition team, you’ll be on the front lines—developing strong Centers of Influence (COIs), attending networking events, and proactively sourcing high-quality candidates to build our growing team of Financial Advisors. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in sales or recruitment, who are natural relationship builders and excel at driving results. Experience in talent acquisition or finance is helpful but not required.

Primary Responsibilities
Sourcing & Selection
- Hunt for top talent by proactively building and developing strong referral sources and productive Centers of Influence (COIs).
- Identify, maintain, and execute lead generation strategies from various sources (referrals, networking, social media, community events, etc.).
- Actively engage in the community, attend networking events, and build visibility for Northwestern Mutual as the premier career destination.
- Own the recruiting process by sourcing, screening, conducting initial interviews, and guiding candidates through the selection journey.
Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis
- Report weekly recruiting activity and progress to the leadership team.
- Maintain an organized candidate database to ensure efficiency and success in the selection process.
- Analyze recruiting ratios and conversion data, implementing strategic adjustments to enhance results.
Qualifications
- No specific experience requirement—we’re looking for driven individuals with a passion for building relationships and recruiting top talent.
- Sales, networking, or recruiting experience is a plus, but not required.
- Self-motivated, high-energy, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Compensation
- Base salary: $55,000 per year
- Upwards of $20,000 per year in performance-based bonuses
