CAD Technician
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting
Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) - Good organization and communication skills to assure projects are completed on schedule
- Proficiency using current versions of AutoCAD or similar
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with project team members and clients
- A flexible working style and the ability to work independently and with teams of specialists to meet client and project needs
- The CAD Technician supports the group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating drawings in AutoCAD
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In this role, you will be responsible for providing CADD plan development and preparation for Aquatic Engineering projects
- Typical duties consist of working with engineers to create, update, and revise engineering drawings
- Project responsibilities include developing and managing project CAD file structure, basefiles, design surfaces and pipe drafting networks, and construction drawing, as well as determining quantities for cost estimating and report preparation
