Reliability Engineer
Fantastic opportunity to join Stepan Company as a Reliability Engineer in beautiful Wilmington, NC. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager providing advanced knowledge & technical expertise to deploy continuous improvement in process & asset reliability. If you are a solid reliability engineer with interest collaborating with other site leaders in process engineering, project management, & continuous improvement please apply. You will contribute to deliver the optimization of equipment to include installation, preventative maintenance, & equipment troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy complex reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation
- Ensure the implementation of the strategic development of asset reliability centered maintenance applications
- Perform technical reviews of complex projects and collaborate cross functionally with site leadership on new equipment reliability specifications
- Execute the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability
- Participate in the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology applications to identify and eliminate defects
Qualifications:
- Co-op or Internship experience in an industrial environment preferred
- Proven knowledge in the application of reliability tools
- Knowledge in maintenance & continuous improvement management
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
