
School Psychologist
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Appropriate Valid Illinois Certificate.
2. Master's Degree or higher.
- Develops and implements a program for assessing students.
- Maintains records and reports of all testing and shares the results with staff.
- Assists principals and teachers in developing programs that effectively meet the
mental needs of the students. - Collaborates with other public and private schools to provide for the needs of
District 152 students with exceptional needs. - Collaborates with staff to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Provides consultation to family members of students when necessary.
- Assists with in-service training of school personnel in such areas as testing, mental
health, and other areas of expertise. - Shares information and develops plans for assisting/supporting students and
families through the Multidisciplinary Staff Conferences/Individual Educational
Plans/annual review processes. - Works directly with students based on educational team recommendations to
address specific needs.
