Outpatient Therapist (LMHP-S)

Position: Outpatient Therapist (Licensed Mental Health Professional - Supervisee) Location: Virtual/Remote (Virginia-based)

As we expand our services, we're seeking a dedicated and passionate Outpatient Therapist (LMHP-S) to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: The Outpatient Therapist will provide high-quality, client-centered therapeutic services under the supervision of a board-approved Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This role is ideal for a motivated, empathetic professional committed to supporting clients in their mental health journey while advancing their clinical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual therapy sessions to a diverse client population.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor client progress.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions to enhance clinical competencies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
  • Current Virginia LMHP-S designation (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and ethical practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice.
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while maintaining professional boundaries.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
  • Specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, or women's issues.
