DELVE DEEPER INTO YOUR DAY
You'll have a full-time Monday through Friday schedule between 8 AM and 4 PM. No weekends!
As a Medical Biller, your role will be crucial to our practice's financial success. You'll manage the entire medical billing process, ensuring that all claims are submitted accurately and promptly. Your day will involve verifying patient information, processing claims to insurance companies, and ensuring every code-especially those using ICD-10-is precise. You'll diligently follow up on unpaid claims and oversee collections with professionalism and care. You'll collaborate with healthcare providers to clear up any discrepancies in billing or coding, maintaining thorough and organized records along the way. Staying up to date on medical billing regulations is key, and your commitment to providing excellent customer service will help our patients understand their accounts with ease. Your meticulous financial work keeps our practice running efficiently and supports the care our patients rely on!
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME OUR MEDICAL BILLER?
- Experience in medical billing, coding, or a relative field. Dermatology experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Familiarity with healthcare collection processes and systems
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient data. Modernizing Medicine knowledge preferred
- Resides in or the ability to relocate to East Weymouth, MA 02189 before starting work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Great attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
