Environmental Project Representative

Position Title: Environmental Project Representative (Full-Time)

Assignment: Resident Project Representative

Gandee & Associates, Inc., an environmental engineering firm with offices in Delaware, OH and Akron, OH, is seeking applicants for the position of Environmental Project Representative.

Environmental Technicians provide on-site inspection of hazardous materials abatement projects. Typical duties include the following:

1. Inspects hazardous materials abatement projects for compliance with contract documents.
2. Provides expert knowledge of particular project contract documents.
3. Provides interpretations of contract documents making judgments about compliance.
4. Conducts necessary tests to monitor abatement work practices, which include.
5. Documents project activities.
6. Administers assigned project tasks.
7. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Employee must be able to wear respiratory protection. Use of personal automobile and valid driver license required.

Successful candidates will have completed or be enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college majoring in Environmental Science, Emergency Response Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
