Competitive starting salary starting at $61,455.89 per year - Location: Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office, Jail, and House of Correction.

Physical Fitness Testing Requirements:

• Push-Ups: Complete 19 in 1 minute

• Plank: Hold for 1 minute

• ¼ Mile Run & Handcuff: Complete within 3 minutes and 22 seconds

• ¼ Mile Run & Dummy Drag: Complete within 3 minutes and 37 seconds

Important Dates:

• PT Test: May 31, 2025 at 9:00am

• Written Test: May 31, 2025, Following the completion of the PT Test

•Location: 467 Cheshire Road, Pittsfield MA

• Academy Start: September 2025

Completion of Academy:

• Officers will be assigned either 2nd/3rd shift with a 5:2 schedule which may include weekends and or holidays. Officers will be on a probationary period for a period of one year, set from their date of hire.
