Direct Care Worker

Most employees are college students who are looking for a job to fit their school schedule. Most of our programs run in the afternoons starting at 7 am-3 pm & 2 pm -6 pm, which offers the flexibility to go to class and still work. Our agency offers a variety of hours flexible to meet the needs of individuals interested in working part, or full-time hours. This is a perfect entry-level position for students, or individuals interested in the social services, teaching, therapies, and medical fields. Employment is offered throughout the valley, primarily in the east valley. Compensation starts at $15- $16.00 per hour depending on service provision, experience, and education. No experience necessary. Paid time off and medical insurance available. All training will be provided and is paid for by Smiles. Minimum qualifications: at least 18 years of age, reliable transportation, clean driving record, valid driver's license, insurance, vehicle registration, and be able to pass level one fingerprint clearance and a background check. Must be available to work weekends, as some weekends may be required.
