Paralegal - Litigation Assistant - Administrative Support Staff

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Litigation Assistant to join our firmr. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys by conducting legal research, drafting documents, managing case files, and assisting with the preparation of legal proceedings. You will play a key role in ensuring that our legal team operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including fee agreements, motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.

Conduct client and witness interviews and gather pertinent information for case preparation.

Maintain and organize case files, ensuring that all documents are properly filed and accessible.

Assist in managing client communications, scheduling meetings, and coordinating hearings and depositions.

Prepare trial exhibits and assist attorneys during hearings, trials, and depositions.

Review, organize, and summarize depositions, witness statements, and other legal documents.

File documents with courts and government agencies, ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements.

Help track case progress and keep clients informed about key developments.

Qualifications:

No experience is necessary, we are willing to train based upon the specific niche and direction of our firm.

Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software (e.g., Clio, LexisNexis).

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Spanish speaking a plus.
