Reliability Engineer
NOV is seeking a Reliability Engineer for our Downhole Team in Evansville, Wyoming. In this key role, you will support engineering and operations by analyzing non-conformities, tracking R&D initiatives, and summarizing customer incident findings. Your data analytics and teardown analysis skills will help produce clear damage reports and manage non-conforming tools across our Downhole drilling product lines. Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all relevant data is properly recorded in the ITrax system.
- For each incident, collect focused and detailed photos that meet Engineering and Service Quality Teams standards.
- Collect relevant information from the customer.
- Document incidents in a detailed, well-formatted, and professional manner.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis and suggest Corrective Action Responses for each incident.
- Collaborate with Engineering for all Level 1, 2, and 3 reports.
- Respond to Engineering requests for documentation and support.
- Respond to customers promptly.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Make recommendations to enhance existing products to drive reliability.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Education and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in petroleum or mechanical engineering is required
- Must be located in Evansville/Casper, WY.
- Experience with Excel, MS Office, and PowerPoint is required.
