Job Overview:
The Financial Planning and Analysis professional (FP&A) is responsible for preparing and reviewing strategic decisions with regards to finances, research economic and business information, and use financial models to predict financial outcomes. The FP&A is part of the finance team and partners closely with the senior leadership. This role requires strong analytical skills and a high level of confidentiality. This position is fully onsite.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Decision Support: Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly KPI’s
- Financing: Prepare and distribute weekly asset-based lending documentation, monthly lender financial packages and compliance certificates
- Strategic Analysis: Help Company forecast revenues and expenditures
- Financial Modeling: Use financial models, scenario analysis, and what-if analysis to predict financial outcomes
- Budgeting: Help prepare the annual budget and monthly financial forecasts
- Research: Gather economic and business information that affects the company’s performance
- Asset Optimization: Identify ways to optimize the company’s investments and assets
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Analytical skills to interpret financial data
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to clearly explain financial analyses to colleagues in other departments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required
- 3+ years of experience in similar capacity is required
- Previous treasury experience is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
