JOB SUMMARY
Develop, implement, and maintain CNC machined part manufacturing processes per customer drawings & specifications on a variety of 3,4,5-Axis CNC equipment. Create in-process CAD/CAM models, work instructions, process flows, NC programs etc… to introduce and manage new product development, as well as improve and optimize existing processes. This position requires an understanding of machining, materials, tooling, and standards to meet stringent quality and performance requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and implement CNC machined part manufacturing processes, including:
+ Material form selection
+ Operation sequencing
+ Fixture design
+ Machine selection
+ Tooling selection
+ Programming
* Analyze engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to determine machining/manufacturing strategies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality and production, to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle times.
* Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, including tooling wear, machine setup, and process deviations.
* Provide technical training and support to machine operators and other team members to build team capabilities.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning by engaging with team members on best practices and troubleshooting methodologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
(preferred but not required; equivalent experience will be considered).
* 2+ years of experience in CNC machining and process development, preferably in the aerospace industry.
* Familiarity in CAD/CAM software (e.g., NX, Solidworks, Mastercam, or similar software), CNC programming, and G-code.
* Hands-on experience with CNC machining centers, including setup, and operation.
* Knowledge of GD&T, machining tolerances, and material properties
* Knowledge of inspection tools, gauging, and methods
* Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other quality management systems.
* Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS
* Understanding of Mazak controls and Mazatrol
* Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP)

The pay range for this role is $58,800 - $94,200. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: July 11, 2025.
