
Personal Care Provider
This is an on-site position in Colorado Springs, CO.
As a Personal Care Provider, staff members will work with individuals that have a diagnosis of Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in their home as well as in the community. While in the home, the Personal Care Provider (PC) will help to promote safe and healthy daily living activities by working side-by-side with the client
Key Responsibilities
Meal preparation and planning
Transportation to and from doctor's appointments
Scheduling doctor appointments
Money Managment
Grocery shopping
House cleaning (side-by-side) assistance
Required:
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Able to pass a background check with no felonies.
Must be able to pass a drug test (to include marijuana).
Have a valid driver's license with auto insurance.
Training and/or experience commensurate with the service or support being provided.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to complete required forms/reports and follow verbal and written instructions.
Capable and motivated to provide services.
Completion of minimum training based on state training guidelines.
Experience performing required job tasks and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with persons with developmental disabilities.
Available to work 32-40 hours/week.
