Social Media Specialist

We're seeking a creative and organized Social Media Specialist to help us share our story, engage with our patients online, and build a strong digital presence across platforms.

Job Summary:

The Social Media Specialist will manage and grow our social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and others. This role involves creating engaging content, promoting dental services and community involvement, and building relationships with current and potential patients online.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, create, and schedule engaging content (photos, videos, reels, stories, etc.) for all social media platforms

Collaborate with the dental team to capture behind-the-scenes moments, educational tips, and patient testimonials (with consent)

Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and reviews, and respond in a timely and professional manner

Develop and execute monthly content calendars aligned with our branding and goals

Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, etc.) and adjust strategies as needed

Stay up to date on social media trends, especially within healthcare or dental niches

Assist in occasional digital marketing efforts such as email newsletters, blog posts, or simple graphic design using Canva or similar tools

Qualifications:

Proven experience managing social media for a business or organization (dental/healthcare experience a plus) 

OR

Strong understanding of current social media platforms and tools (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

Basic photography and video editing skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Organized, detail-oriented, and creative

Comfortable working in a team environment and interacting with patients/staff

Knowledge of HIPAA and handling patient information online (training can be provided)

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Awesome to Have):

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools

Familiarity with Facebook Ads or social media analytics

Background in content marketing, SEO, or email marketing
