Surgical Technologist/Central Sterile Processing Technician

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Surgical Technologist/Central Sterile Processing Technician to join the Surgical Services team in the Operating Room!

Description:

The selected candidate will report to the Director and Manager of Surgical Services, provide knowledgeable, safe and effective care to patients during intraoperative period, effectively interact with patients and health care team members while maintaining the surgical department standards. Additionally, ensuring knowledgeable and appropriate decontamination, cleaning and sterilization of surgical instrumentation.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program
• Surgical Technology Certification preferred
• Certification in Central Sterile Processing preferred and/or required within 1 year of hire
• At least 1 year experience preferred

Day shift with rotation for holidays and call.
