Residential Assistant- Joe’s Place- $18.54/Hr

PT 16 Hr/wk Provides 24/7 support to program participants in a residential program. Eligible participants fall under the jurisdiction of the Psychiatry Security Review board (PSRB). Responsibilities include: ensuring participants are following a conditional release plan under the jurisdiction of the PSRB, supporting activities according to the program participant’s IRPs, assisting program participants in performing daily living skills and personal care needs, providing emotional support to participants, monitoring participants physical and mental health, and reporting relevant information to the Director. Documentation of services in the Electronic Medical Records System (EMRS). CNA/HHA/PCA/PCT preferred.
Worksite: Norwich
Hours: Sat, Sun, 11:30pm - 7:30 am

 

Education and Experience: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Work experience in the provision of mental health services preferred
  • Valid CT Driver’s License, vehicle registration, and insurance
  • Good driving record
