Residential Assistant - Life Skills Education Advancement Program (LEAP) - $18.54/Hr

PT 16 Hr/wk Provides 24/7 support to young adults in a residential setting while teaching daily living skills in accordance with agency values and procedures. Responsibilities include goal planning and progress reporting, and activities promoting skill development required to enhance and maintain healthy living (examples include making and keeping important appointments with healthcare providers, menu planning, laundry, grocery shopping, social skill development, and providing support for ADL). Documentation of services in the Electronic Medical Records System (EMRS). CNA/HHA/PCA/PCT preferred.

Worksite: Norwich

Hours: Fri, Sat, 3:15 pm - 11:15 pm

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Work experience in the provision of mental health services preferred
  • Valid CT Driver’s License, vehicle registration and insurance
  • Good driving record
