Project Manager
We are hiring a Project Manager in our Planning and Economic Development department. This position will perform work coordinating, promoting, facilitating, and reviewing proposals and contracts for Neighborhood STAR projects.
Here's what you can expect to do:
- Act as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for multiple stakeholders (grantees, other city departments, community groups, etc.) related to projects in portfolio, and proactively manages multiple complex projects each year.
- Guide grantees regarding appropriate requests for and use of program funds, monitor funding compliance for all requests, and provide technical expertise to support grantees in achieving stated goals consistent with program, departmental, and City values, goals, and objectives.
- Lead contracting and reimbursement processes, including planning, coordinating, monitoring, and managing projects to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate collection and analysis of project and program data related to projects in portfolio, and work with STAR and other staff to aggregate and analyze collective data.
- Create internal and public-facing reports, summaries, and presentations.

Position Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Marketing, Communications, Public Administration, Business Administration, Management, or a closely-related field.
