Ellsworth County Medical Center (ECMC) is seeking a full-time Clinic Nurse (LPN or RN) to support our Rural Health Clinic providers and patients. This vital role assists in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced and collaborative clinic environment. You'll work closely with a team to ensure smooth patient flow, provide clinical support, and offer compassionate care that reflects ECMC’s core values of integrity, stewardship, compassion, and service.

What You’ll Do:
✅ Provider Support – Assist with patient assessments, administer medications, prepare for and assist during exams and procedures, and provide follow-up care instructions.
✅ Patient Coordination – Prepare exam rooms, collect medical histories and vitals, and ensure smooth patient flow throughout the visit.
✅ Health Education – Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and general wellness in partnership with the provider.
✅ Clinical Documentation – Accurately chart in the electronic medical record (EMR), ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
✅ Team Collaboration – Work alongside clinic staff, providers, and other departments to create a seamless, patient-first experience.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in acute care setting preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent skills in organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain diverse technical problems in easy-to-understand language.
- Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Must have advanced computer and Microsoft program skills, electronic medical record experience, and the ability to operate necessary nursing equipment.
Certifications/Registrations:
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse in the State of Kansas, CPR
