Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Reports To: SLP Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ DUTIES

• Under the supervision of an ASHA certified and state-licensed Speech Language Pathologist, will perform the following duties:
• Work under regular direction according to the agency and Birth to Three’s mission and philosophy 
• Provide evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, intervention and service coordination, in a child’s natural learning environment, as part of a multidisciplinary team for children with developmental delays 
• Collaborate and support the family and a multi-disciplinary team to develop goals and outcomes for children referred to Birth to Three 
• Coach family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over in community settings 
• Maintain an accurate record of services provided and submit all documentation including but not limited to evaluation reports and progress reports in a timely manner 
• Maintain proper documentation to comply with state regulations

REQUIREMENTS

• Masters in Speech Language Pathology 
• Must be licensed in the state of Connecticut 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, telephone, computer) 
• Ability to travel to multiple locations
