Health Consulting Analyst - Houston - College Program 2025
We are seeking a talented individual to join Mercer’s Health Consulting team as an Analyst. This role will be based in Houston, TX. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office or from a client site.

We will count on you to:
- Assist senior consultants with reviewing client needs, recommending suitable approaches, and helping implement benefit program strategies
- Collect, analyze, and interpret health care data for reporting to the client
- Acquire knowledge about the insurance vendor marketplace, plan designs, healthcare cost factors, and the renewal process for health and group benefit programs
- Coordinate the Request for Proposal (RFP) process on behalf of a client
- Help write and structure client communications, including proposals, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
What you need to have:
- Progress toward or completion of a bachelor's degree and concentration(s) in business, math, statistics, economics, and/or other related fields is preferred
- Status as a currently enrolled student; candidates should have a graduation date of Fall 2024 or Spring of 2025
- Strong academic achievement demonstrated through rigorous course work, and the ability to successfully balance extra-curricular activities
- Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future is required
