Do you want to be a Storyteller Ambassador?
Storytellers are a special select group of Bloomfield College of Montclair State University students whose priority is to spread their enthusiasm to prospective and accepted students through a variety of ways. Storytellers provide campus tours for prospective students, attend college fairs, interact with new students and campus VIPs, and are the face of Bloomfield College of Montclair State University.
It’s being a true campus leader that will inspire current students while attracting new ones so they can “Write Their Own Story”
Applications are for the 2025 - 2026 school year!
Here’s the type of person we are looking for:
- Your love for Bloomfield needs to shine through to prospective students, as well as to your peers
- Someone who loves interacting with people while wearing a smile
- Someone willing to be active on social media to Share Their Story
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting campus tours for prospective students and their families, school groups, campus VIP and incoming staff/faculty
- Facilitating and assisting group tour presentations
- Participate in large scale campus events.
- Engaging prospective students via phone calls and letters
- Assist the Admissions Office with office operations
- Wearing the mascot (Deacon) outfit and enthusiastically interacting with others at special events
