Qualifications:
- Required Qualifications: Current MN Licensure to teach High School Instrumental (Band) Music
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful experience leading comparable band music programs.
- Creates an environment of respect and trust with students and staff.
- Commitment to the high school philosophy including working on and with a team of teachers through our PLC process, co-curricular groups and supporting other aspects of secondary education.
- Uses and implements technology in the classroom.
- Differentiates curriculum to a wide range of learners.
- Proven skill in forming, building, and maintaining positive relationships with students, families and band booster organizations.
- Successful experience working with department, co-curricular and activity funds.
- Shows commitment to stay current with professional improvement in instrumental music.

Job Summary: The Lead High School Band Music teacher is responsible for the leadership, growth and development of the St. Francis School District Band Music Program as well as teaching ensembles, providing individual students with lessons and leading the Marching Band program.
