Graduate Engineer

Position Title: Graduate Engineer

Cascade Civil Services, LLC is a civil engineering consulting firm based in Houston, TX. We specialize in stormwater management, drainage design, and hydrology & hydraulics (H&H) analysis. Our projects support both public and private sector clients, including government agencies, municipalities, and private land development firms. 

Role Overview: 

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to apply classroom knowledge to real-world infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will support our team in the planning, design, and analysis of drainage systems, stormwater infrastructure, detention ponds, and flood studies. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the preparation of hydrologic and hydraulic models using tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and SWMM. 
  • Support senior engineers in designing storm sewer systems, detention basins, and open channel improvements.
  • Analyze and interpret engineering reports, maps, drawings, and tests. 
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, and construction drawings. 
  • Conduct field investigations and site visits when necessary. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (ABET-accredited program preferred). 
  • EIT certification or intent to obtain within 6 months. 
  • Knowledge of GIS or Civil 3D is a plus. 
  • Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
