Senior Living Advisor
Description:
The Senior Living Advisor is responsible for executing daily sales activities to enhance and maintain occupancy rates at our facility. This includes engaging with prospective residents and professionals, managing follow-up communications, and coordinating events that promote our offerings. The role requires diligent documentation and collaboration with the management team to ensure a seamless transition for new residents.
Education & Qualifications:
· Must be knowledgeable in ODH regulations for RCF.
· Previous management experience in RCF or healthcare setting a must.
· Knowledge of aging, dementia related disease.
· Minimum of 2 years Marketing experience is required with a proven track record of meeting established sales quota, health care industry preferred.
· Possess knowledge of office procedures and computer skills.
· Must have a valid driver’s license with appropriate auto insurance.
· Must have a strong desire to care for the elderly.
· Possess organizational and interpersonal skills, and must be able to multi-task, and effectively deal with the public.
· Follow all policies and procedures of Wexner Heritage Village.
Duties:
Daily Sales Activities:
o Conduct and schedule daily sales functions to increase and maintain unit occupancy. This includes follow-up calls, emails, and utilizing tools like One Day, mailing campaigns, and home drops.
Prospect Transition:
o Complete all tasks necessary to transition prospects to resident status. This involves engaging prospects, following up, and achieving conversion and closing goals.
CRM Documentation:
o Document all sales activities in the designated CRM system daily to track progress and maintain accurate records.
Event Planning and Coordination:
o Plan, coordinate, and implement on-site and off-site sales events to generate leads and engage with potential residents.
Team Communication:
o Communicate necessary documents to the team to finalize move-ins and keep management updated on lead status, including lead scores, events, appointments, and scheduled tours.
Budget Participation:
o Participate in department budget planning and provide weekly and monthly reports as requested.
Lead Nurturing:
o Host and plan lead nurture and generation events, both on and off campus, to maintain engagement with potential residents.
Education and Follow-Up:
o Educate prospective residents and their advisors about our services, scheduling regular follow-up communications.
Team Leadership:
o Provide support and leadership to team members, ensuring the entire team can assist prospects throughout the transition to resident status.
Sales Materials Management:
o Maintain an inventory of sales materials to ensure prospects have consistent visibility of our offerings.
Community Readiness:
o Assist Executive Director to ensure the community is tour-ready by managing models and furniture to present a welcoming environment.
Engagement with Waiting List:
o Engage with prospective residents on the waiting list through mailings, phone calls, and invitations to activities.
Information Provision:
o Provide accurate information to prospective residents through tours, phone interactions, and mail communications.
Inquiries Response:
o Respond promptly to phone and walk-in inquiries, providing tours as needed.
Waiting List Maintenance:
o Maintain the waiting list for CAV and the Cottage, ensuring frequent communication with contacts.
Family Assistance:
o Offer ongoing support to families and residents with their needs, assisting them in determining the best level of care at CAV.
Safety and Sanitation:
· Must follow and adhere to all sanitation procedure as prescribed by the Ohio Department of Health and the Columbus Health Department and all other governing agencies followed by WHV
· Must assure that WHV safety policy and procedures are followed at all times
· Must follow the WHV Infection Control, Universal Precautions, and the Exposure Control Plan, policies and procedures when performing daily tasks and functions
· Report all hazardous conditions, accidents, and incidents to the immediate supervisor
· Must be able to lift up to 25lbs on a routine biases
· Must be able to push/pull up to 25lbs on a routine biases
· Must be able to stand for entire shift duration along with lifting, binding, pulling and pushing
· Able to drive for long periods of time
· Maybe exposure to infections, diseases, falls, equipment burns, injuries and odors
