Junior Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Engineer who is eager to grow through hands-on experience and mentorship. The ideal candidate will bring some foundational experience in supporting operational efficiency and leading process improvement initiatives, while being open to learning and developing under the guidance of experienced professionals. This role combines classic industrial engineering with real-world project management, making it a strong launchpad for someone looking to advance both their technical skills and leadership capabilities in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience in how to analyze workflows, processes, and layouts to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure quality and timely production.

  • Collect and interpret data related to production, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Assist in managing the operations team, with all departments to maintain daily update reports
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful completion of installations.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to promote collaboration and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and timelines to ensure adherence to financial targets and project goals.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including safety regulations, building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations and optimize performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of project details, contracts, and client communications.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members to support their growth and development.
  • Coordinate and support cross-functional improvement projects from initiation to closure.
  • Develop project plans including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are met on time and within scope.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for project updates and reviews.
  • Maintain daily update reports of project status.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

● 0–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, logistics, or operations.

● Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira, or Trello) is a plus.

● Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies is a plus.

● Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:

● Certification or coursework in Project Management (CAPM, PMP, or similar) is a bonus.

● Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or Power BI).

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be Florida Based. No Relocation available for this role.
