Full-time: Technology Support Technician for Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District

 

Description

The Technology Support Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.  The candidate is expected to have a strong background in administrative functions related to desktop and mobile operating systems and applications for multiple computing platforms, basic/intermediate server experience, and basic/intermediate network troubleshooting while demonstrating exceptional customer service to staff, student, and community users of technology.

Qualifications

Education:  Associates Degree in Technology Science from a recognized college or university

Required: 

  • 3-5 Year in a technology field.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to obtain or currently hold industry certifications:  CompTIA A+, DCSE, MCDST, CCNA, or other OS, hardware, networking, or repair certifications.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license as travel is required to provide technical support between multiple buildings.
