Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Looking to hire a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to work as an associate at a small counseling practice in Providence, RI. 

Open to hiring a part-time or full-time employee. Hours per week are flexible.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing diagnostic assessment;
• Developing and implementing client-focused treatment plans;
• Facilitating ongoing psychotherapy sessions at a frequency based on individual clients needs;
• Maintaining clinical documentation on our electronic health record and completing clinical notes daily;
• Coordinating with other providers (as needed) to best support the treatment process; and
• Referring clients to a higher level of care (if/when necessary).

I will provide a fully furnished office space. The building is handicap accessible, and there is parking lot available for the clinician as well as client. 

This is a fee for service position, so you will be compensated per hours worked each week.

I am currently not offering health benefits, but I am offering a competitive percentage of earnings to help offset insurance costs. 

I will provide an annual continuing education stipend of $500 per year and cover all office expenses. 

I will provide guidance and mentoring in order to create a warm and welcoming environment.
