Please note: this position is paid on an hourly basis and limited to 1500 hours per calendar year. The salary range for Scientific Aid is $17.73 - $21.04 per hour.

The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Financial Assistance has two openings for a Scientific Aid in the Division of Financial Assistance. The positions are located at 801 K Street, 8th Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814 right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.
Under the direct supervision of a Senior Water Resource Control Engineer or Senior Engineering Geologist, and consistent with good customer service practices and the goals of the State and Regional Board’s Strategic Plan, the incumbent is expected to be courteous and provide timely responses to internal/external customers, follow through on commitments, and to solicit and consider internal/external customer input when completing work assignments.
