Engineer Technician

Job Description: You will be responsible for the assembly of Swinergy’s first
commercial pilot. You will work closely with the Head of Engineering and Lab Director
to deploy Swinergy’s technology on the farm. This will involve identification and
documentation of the assembly process, equipment design, system fabrication, and
installation. You’ll be expected to maintain and improve the system on the installation
site. You’ll also run in-house experiments in our laboratory to help drive future
engineering decisions. You will have the opportunity to define this role as your skillset
grows. This is a hands-on role and you can expect to spend half your time working
physically.

Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who loves to build and enjoys solving
complex problems. You will have prior experience making something from scratch.
You will have hands-on shop experience and the ability to work independently on
new projects. You’ll have an innate drive to optimize systems, improve manufacturing,
and find cost savings. As a member of our small team, you can expect to be given
significant responsibility and exposure to all facets of the business. You must be a
self-starter and comfortable working in a relatively unstructured environment.

Experience and Skills:

• B.S. or M.S. Mechanical, Civil or other relevant engineering education
• Experience with CAD
• Have built something from scratch before
