Position Overview

We're looking to fill an entry-level position for a control system integrator/industrial automation engineer. Control System Integrator to join our engineering team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for recent engineering graduates to build a career in industrial automation. You'll work alongside experienced professionals who will mentor you in the design, implementation, and support of control systems while gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading technologies.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Designing and developing PLC/DCS code based on client specifications and industry standards
  • Designing and developing graphical user interfaces and HMI screens
  • Preparing system documentation to include control narratives, functional specifications, IO lists and operator training material
  • Performing and documenting Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing
  • Support commissioning efforts at client sites

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related technical field (recent graduates welcome)
  • Understanding of basic programming concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of electrical schematics and control diagrams
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to PLC programming platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, ABB, etc.)
  • Exposure to HMI development platforms (Allen-Bradley, AVEVA, Ignition, etc.)
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
