Mathematics Teacher

Charlotte Valley CSD is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Mathematics Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics content as well as a passion for teaching and supporting students. It is anticipated that this position will be responsible for upper-level mathematics courses.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering effective and engaging mathematics lessons

• Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students

• Assessing and monitoring student progress

• Providing timely and constructive feedback to students and their families

• Creating an inclusive classroom environment

• Managing classroom behavior and enforcing school policies

• Effectively collaborating with colleagues

• Providing opportunities to engage students outside of the classroom

• Keeping accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance

Qualifications:

Candidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS teaching certification in 7-12 Mathematics.

Compensation:

The successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position.

Starting salary is commensurate with experience, $50,444 to $68,226 plus contractual benefits.
