Associate Engineer - Product Support

Job Summary
Responsible for providing technical support and answering questions related to our existing products. Utilize technical product line knowledge and apply problem-solving skills to assist customers and internal team members effectively.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Provides technical support to the team and customers on product performance, best practices, technical information research, and troubleshooting.
Maintains detailed records of technical support solutions provided and implemented, utilizing industry and product-related knowledge.
Analyzes and supplies historical product test data to address product issues and support customer requests.
Prepares competitive analyses for the establishment and review of internal quality objectives.
Responds to customer inquiries regarding product specifications, functionality, and usage.
Provides detailed information regarding special product usage and limitations for internal and external customers.
Utilizes engineering knowledge to update and improve product documentation.
Performs other duties as requested or assigned
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Certification may be required in some areas. Generally 0-2 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 0-1 year of experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or civil preferred).
- 1 to 3 years relevant technical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of how to read design drawings, specifications, blueprints, technical plans, and models.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CAD tools (SOLIDWORKS).
- Previous background in concrete construction preferred.
