Software Engineer
Are you proficient in Enterprise Cloud computing technologies, ASP, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Azure DevOps, SalesForce, GIT, and Tableau? California Energy Commission (CEC) is hiring a Software Engineer in the Information Technology Services Branch (ITSB) on the Application Development team. This government opportunity is an Information Technology Specialist I state classification.
Our next Software Engineer must have proficient knowledge of cloud computing and data science concepts, practices, methods, and principles within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Our Software Engineer will also serve as a Salesforce Administrator/Developer in the most complex iterative development and operation of the Energy Commission Agreement Management System (ECAMS).

Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in Service Cloud case management and assignment, environment set up and configuration, and knowledge of Process Builder, Lightning Flow and Community, etc.
- Ability to develop complex detailed specifications that result in applications and reports; using .NET and SQL server platform.
- Ability to troubleshoot the most complex information technology systems and/or teleprocessing network/systems.
- Ability to act as a subject matter expert and facilitate the transfer of knowledge of technical information to other IT professionals.
