Licensed Occupational Therapist

Licensed Occupational Therapist (Part-Time, In-Person)
Location: Southbury, CT 
Schedule: 5 hours per week with flexible scheduling during program hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 3 PM)

The Inclusive Pathways Project LLC (IPP) is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support our growing center-based and community-based services in Southbury, CT. This is a part-time, in-person role ideal for someone passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through transition-focused, person-centered services.

Position Overview

As an Occupational Therapist with IPP, you will provide consultative services, direct supports, and group facilitation to adolescents and young adults with IDD (ages 14–30) in both our center and local community/job sites. Services focus on daily living skills, community engagement, and vocational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct OT services aligned with transition goals
  • Offer consultation and input on program development and skill-building strategies
  • Collaborate with team members to run structured group sessions focused on functional life and work skills
  • Deliver services at the IPP Center in Southbury and in local community settings (e.g., volunteer sites, public venues, job sites)
  • Participate in team meetings, including Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings, internal staff meetings, and caregiver consultation meetings as needed

Qualifications

  • Current OT license in the state of Connecticut
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, particularly during the transition-to-adulthood phase
  • Comfort providing services in community-based environments
  • Must be available to work 5 hours per week in-person, with flexible scheduling available during program hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 3 PM)
