💰 Compensation: $66,560 annually (with potential adjustments based on education, experience, and qualifications)

What You’ll Do
As an Engineering Associate in Field Construction, you’ll gain hands-on experience while contributing to projects that directly impact Kansas communities. Your responsibilities may include:
- Performing construction inspection to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Assisting with surveying, staking right-of-way, and checking computations
- Calculating final pay quantities for construction projects
- Collaborating with contractors, engineers, and project teams to ensure successful outcomes
- Participating in district and area office orientation to build a well-rounded foundation in transportation engineering

What We’re Looking For
Experience: Four years of experience related to engineering (education may substitute as determined relevant by the agency)
License: A valid driver’s license at time of appointment
