About the Role

Westlands Water District is seeking a motivated and skilled Resources Analyst or Associate Resources Analyst to support critical water and land resource initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable water management and environmental stewardship in California’s Central Valley.
 

Position Highlights

Resources Analyst (RA)

• Salary: $90,144 – $109,596 annually
• Requirements: Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of relevant experience
• Key Duties:
  • Analyze and coordinate environmental and regulatory issues
  • Manage water supply acquisition and delivery
  • Support SGMA and ILRP compliance

Associate Resources Analyst (ARA)

• Salary: $77,856 – $94,656 annually
• Requirements: Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of relevant experience
• Key Duties:
  • Support water supply estimation and conservation programs
  • Assist with groundwater monitoring and system design
  • Perform technical tasks including mapping, drafting, and research

Additional Requirements

• Valid California Class C Driver’s License (if applicable)
• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
